Even though the market is saturated with travel apps, I decided to dream a bit and create a new design concept for a Greek travel app. It allows adventure seekers to find amazing spots in this amazing land guided by carefully selected photos.
This shot features two main screens -on the left, there is a search screen where the user can choose a city and then a photo, and then on the right, there is a large image with a description of the place and a series of related pictures. The user has the option to save their favorite photo.
The color palette consists of light blue, white, grey scales, and navy blue as an accent of color. Blue and white bring up associations with a breezy ocean scene meanwhile light blue and light gray assimilates the summer evening atmosphere of one of the Greek islands.
